Back in December of 2020, we wrote a blog that highlighted the work we completed on behalf of South Park Advisors, a business valuation consultancy located in Charlotte, North Carolina. At that point in time, we had helped the team at SPA navigate an especially tricky situation with their website—namely, they had been through two less-than-successful website redevelopment efforts with other companies… all in a year. Suffice to say, they were a bit fed up.

Indeed, we bring up this past client today with a specific purpose in mind—to offer the South Park Advisors team our earnest congratulations. Their website was just awarded a Web Excellence Award, and Woland Web also received recognition for the part that we played in the process.

This is a high honor, for sure. The Web Excellence Awards seek to promote excellence on the Web and “honors distinguished website, web marketing projects, videos, mobile sites and apps, and social media campaigns created by digital and creative agencies, designers, creators, freelancers, and entrepreneurs worldwide.”
Ultimately, Web Excellence Awards, presented by the Web Academy of Digital Arts and Media, aims to “become one of the most prestigious web competitions to be accessible for everyone waiting for the right opportunity to promote their works.”
The judging criteria to be considered for a Web Excellence Award is also robust, and entries are evaluated by several experts and top-tier professionals from a variety of backgrounds. The judges are “informed of the mission statement and will carefully evaluate the creativity, functionality, technical execution, innovation, implementation, strategy, and impact of the project submitted.”
Suffice to say, we were quite pleased to learn about this award and are proud of the role we played to make this a reality for South Park Advisors after all they had been through in getting their site created and launched.
